ARKOGELULES Vitamin D3 Plant Liquid - 15ml

Oral use. From age 3.

• Children aged 3 to 11: 1 drop once a day
• Children aged 12 and over and adults: 5 drops once a day

Shake before use. Remove excess liquid from the pipette on the neck of the bottle before administering.
Can be swallowed neat in a teaspoon, or mixed with cold food (bread, yoghurt, compote, etc.)

• Do not take in combination with other vitamin D products.
• Children under 6, pregnant and breastfeeding women should consult a health professional before taking any supplements.

Lichens are symbiotic organisms associating a fungus with an alga. Found in different parts of the world (North America, Scandinavia, Asia...), Cladonia rangiferina is one species of lichen. It is known as Reindeer Lichen, because it is the main source of food for reindeer in winter.
As lichen is one of the richest sources of vitamin D, reindeer accumulate vitamin D in their muscle tissue. This enables northerners (who eat reindeer meat) with little exposure to UV radiation to obtain the quantities of vitamin D they need.

VITAMIN D is an essential vitamin for the body.

There are two forms of vitamin D: vitamin D2 (ergocalciferol), produced by plants, and vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol), mainly produced by animals. A plant form of vitamin D3 is also available, from Lichen Des Rennes.
