Vitamin D is a fat-soluble vitamin. It can be supplied by the diet (fatty fish such as cod liver oil or sardines, egg yolks...) or it can be synthesized by the skin under the influence of sunlight (ultraviolet B). Low exposure to sunlight or the absence of certain foods in the daily diet are factors that limit vitamin D intake: regardless of age, vitamin D intake is essential. A lack of vitamin D can sometimes lead to muscle or immune weakness, which can expose the body to external aggression.

It is therefore important to have a sufficient intake of vitamin D, whatever our age, to support our immune system.

Adolescents over 11 and adults: 1-2 capsules to be swallowed with a large glass of water per day
