Advantage 40 Spot on for cats and rabbits is an anti-flea treatment. It has been developed to prevent and treat flea infestations in pet cats and rabbits weighing less than 4 kg.
The cat flea(Ctenocephalides felis) is a parasitic insect that infests the animal's coat. Hematophagous, it bites the animal to feed on its blood, which can cause itching and inflammatory reactions that can lead the animal to scratch, sometimes even injuring itself. This is a considerable nuisance for the animal's well-being. Added to this is the fact that flea eggs hatch at ground level and are capable of jumping onto a passing animal or human. Fleas must therefore be eliminated, and reinfestations prevented.

Advantage 40 Spot on cat and rabbit < 4 kg does just that. It is formulated with the insecticide imidacloprid. It is packaged in easy-to-handle pipettes. Once applied to the animal, Advantage 40 Spot on will diffuse over the entire skin. It prevents reinfestation for 21 to 30 days in cats and 7 days in rabbits.

Method of administration :

Remove one pipette from the packaging.
Hold pipette upright, twist and pull off cap.
Use the cap upside down to screw and perforate the pipette orifice.

Administration in cats :

part the hair at the base of the cat's neck until the skin is visible. Place the tip of the pipette on the skin and press firmly several times to empty the contents directly onto the skin.

Administration in rabbits :

part the hair at the base of the rabbit's neck until the skin is visible. Place the tip of the pipette on the skin and press firmly several times to empty the contents directly onto the skin.

Each 0.4 ml pipette contains: Active substance: imidacloprid 40 mg Excipients: butylhydroxytoluene 0.4 mg

Not for use in rabbits intended for consumption.
Do not use on rabbits under 10 weeks of age.
Do not treat unweaned kittens under 8 weeks of age.
Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to any component of this product.
