Wet inhalation is a traditional method used to clear the upper respiratory tract with essential oils. The volatile compounds of essential oils are carried along by water vapour and inhaled. They penetrate the body by following the path of the air and come into contact with the respiratory mucosa (nose, sinuses, throat, lungs).

Activox® Inhalation tablets contain a combination of Rosemary, Red Thyme and Lavender essential oils known for their ability to clear the upper respiratory tract. This product is designed to complement conventional treatments for upper respiratory tract disorders.

Activox® Tablets for Inhalation must not be used in the following cases:

in children under 12 years of age.
a history of convulsive seizures.
pregnant or breast-feeding women.

Inhalation: Dissolve 1 or 2 tablets, 2 or 3 times a day, in a bowl of boiling water or in an inhaler and breathe in the vapours.

Rosemary(Rosmarinus officinalis). A shrubby perennial native to the scrublands, garrigues and rocky outcrops of the Mediterranean basin, Rosemary is now widespread almost everywhere in temperate climates with mild winters. In aromatherapy, the essential oil extracted from Rosemary is commonly used for its toning properties and to clear the respiratory tract.
Lavender(Lavandula angustifolia). Lavender belongs to the Lamiaceae family. These shrubs are famous for their highly fragrant flowers and aromatic evergreen foliage. The essential oil extracted from Lavender is renowned for its relaxing and soothing effect.
Red thyme(Thymus zygis). This thyme is morphologically quite similar to the common thyme, and is very fragrant, but with a milder flavor. Red thyme essential oil is recognized for its action on the immune system.
Peruvian balsam(Balsamum peruvianum). Peruvian balsam owes its name to the balsam tree, which grows in Colombia, San Salvador and Venezuela, and was once shipped via Peru. This balm can be used as a sanitizer for ENT disorders.
