Thanks to Policaptil Gel Retard®, Libramed acts at intestinal level by forming an extremely viscous gel which helps control postprandial glycemic peak, by reducing the quantity and speed of carbohydrate absorption (delay effect).

This also leads to a reduction in the sensation of hunger and postprandial drowsiness. In addition, using the same mechanism, Policaptil Gel Retard® limits fat absorption, promotes intestinal transit and regularizes stool consistency.

INDICATIONS
Combined with a balanced diet, adequate fluid intake and regular physical activity, Libramed's mechanism of action is indicated for weight control in adults and children aged 8 and over.

Children aged 8 to 12: 2 tablets before the two main meals

Take the indicated dose with a large glass of water, taking care to swallow one tablet at a time.

Do not chew or break the tablet with your teeth.

For those with swallowing problems, dissolve Libramed tablets in lukewarm water or unsweetened herbal teas, stirring until completely dissolved. The resulting drink should be swallowed within a few minutes, before the gel forms.

WARNINGS

It is advisable to take the product at least two hours before or after taking medication, so as not to interfere with its absorption. Do not use during pregnancy or while breast-feeding. Do not use in case of hypersensitivity or individual allergy to one or more of the components.

Store at room temperature, away from sources of heat and protected from light. Keep out of reach of children. The expiration date refers to the product intact and correctly stored.

The product does not replace a varied diet. Follow a low-calorie diet and regular exercise. If you are on a diet for longer than three weeks, consult your doctor.
